MacWaves, the shore-area Macintosh & iDevice User Group, usually meets at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month in the meeting room of the Eatontown Public Library.
Bob Shindel, co-leader of MacWaves, usually talks about iOS, Apple's operating system for its iPhones, iPads, and some iPods, and the apps that work in it, as well as the Apple Watch and its WatchOS.
Lee Maxwell, co-leader, usually talks about OS X, the Macintosh operating system, and applications that run in OS X, and well as Macs and Mac-compatible peripherals.
We'll also talk about the latest news about Apple and its products and invite you to play "stump the geek" with your technical questions.
MacWaves has met monthly for nearly 20 years [previously known as the Monmouth-Ocean Professional Macintosh Users Group, or MOPMUG] to teach and learn everything Apple, primarily Macintosh computers, software and peripherals, now expanded to cover iPads, iPods and iPhones, and anything else made by or for Apple. We welcome long-time users, grizzled professionals, switchers from PCs and newcomers to the OS X/iOS platform.
